How TARRADCO collects, uses, and protects information submitted through this website.

Last updated: 14 July 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how TARRADCO ("we", "us", "our") handles information collected through tarradco.com and our related business enquiries. It is provided for transparency and general information — it is not legal advice. Where a specific project, contract, or applicable law imposes different or stricter requirements, those requirements will apply.

1. Introduction

TARRADCO is a heavy-steel fabrication company established in 1985 and headquartered in Alexandria, Egypt. We serve industrial, petrochemical, marine, power and construction clients across Egypt, the Gulf and the wider MENA region.

This policy applies to information we receive through this website — including contact and RFQ forms, career applications and general enquiries — and to related business correspondence. It does not cover information exchanged under a signed contract, non-disclosure agreement or purchase order, which is governed by the terms of that agreement.

We recognize that our clients operate in sensitive industrial environments and treat commercial, technical and personnel information with appropriate confidentiality.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

  • Contact details submitted through our forms — name, company, job title, email address and phone number.
  • Enquiry and RFQ content — project scope, technical specifications, drawings, timelines and any attachments you choose to share.
  • Career applications — CV, cover letter, qualifications, welder certifications, references and any information you volunteer.
  • Correspondence — the content of emails, WhatsApp messages and calls you initiate with us.

Information collected automatically

  • Basic technical data such as IP address, device type, browser, referring page and pages viewed.
  • Cookies and similar technologies used for essential site functionality and, where applicable, analytics (see Cookies).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (such as health, religion, or biometric data) through this website. Please do not submit sensitive personal data in enquiry or application forms.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Respond to enquiries, quotations and RFQs, and follow up on project opportunities.
  • Prepare commercial offers, technical proposals and scope clarifications.
  • Evaluate job applications, arrange interviews and manage recruitment.
  • Operate, secure and improve this website, including troubleshooting and analytics.
  • Comply with legal, tax, safety and regulatory obligations applicable to our business.
  • Send occasional service-related updates or project correspondence you would reasonably expect.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not sell your personal information.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We share information only where necessary and with appropriate safeguards, including:

  • Service providers — hosting, email, communication and analytics providers acting under our instructions.
  • Professional advisors — auditors, lawyers, insurers and consultants bound by confidentiality.
  • Project partners — where a subcontractor, inspection body or client team must receive information to deliver a project you have engaged us for.
  • Authorities — where disclosure is required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety or property.

Internally, project and enquiry information is shared on a need-to-know basis with our engineering, QC, HSE, commercial and management teams.

6. International Transfers

We operate internationally and some information may be processed on servers or by service providers located outside Egypt. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure the transfer is subject to appropriate safeguards, such as reputable providers with recognized security practices and contractual commitments to confidentiality.

7. Data Retention

  • General enquiries and RFQs are retained for as long as needed to serve the commercial relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards for reference and legal purposes.
  • Career applications are typically retained for up to twelve (12) months so we can consider candidates for future openings, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Project records, drawings, weld and inspection documentation may be retained for longer periods where law, contract, industry standards (e.g. ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) or warranty obligations require.
  • Website log and analytics data are retained for a limited operational period.

8. Data Security

We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information under our control — including access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), backups and staff confidentiality obligations. Our operations are certified against ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, and information handling is included in the way we manage quality, environment and safety.

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
  • Request deletion of information where it is no longer needed.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Request portability of information you have provided to us.
  • Withdraw a previously given consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and some information may be retained where a legal or contractual obligation applies.

10. Cookies

Our website uses a small number of cookies. Essential cookies support basic functionality such as page navigation and form security. Where used, analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it; they are configured to avoid collecting information that identifies you personally where practical.

11. Third-Party Links

Our website may link to third-party sites and services (for example, social media platforms, mapping providers, or client websites). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties. Please review their privacy policies before providing information to them.

12. Children's Privacy

This website is intended for business and professional users. It is not directed at children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Updates take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date at the top of the page will change. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
