Craft, standards and certification under one roof.
The TARRADCO Training Centre develops skilled welders, fitters and inspectors using the same equipment, procedures and acceptance standards we apply on live fabrication projects.
It serves both our own workforce and external trainees and companies — from first-time vocational students to experienced technicians seeking qualification, re-certification or structured upskilling.

Lifting & Safety
Rigger Course
Qualifies technicians to rig and work safely and efficiently on petroleum and industrial sites.
- 2 days — 1 theory + 1 practical
- 7 hours per day

Defensive Driving Course
Theoretical and practical defensive driving for site and transport crews operating in industrial traffic.
- 2 days — theory + practical

Crane Operator Course
Qualifies crane operators for heavy industrial lifting operations and load-handling discipline.
- 2 days — theory + practical

Forklift Operator Course
Theoretical and practical forklift operation for yard, warehouse and workshop material handling.

Inspection
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Programs
Accredited NDT Level II certificates to ASNT SNT-TC-1A. Covers VT, PT, MT, UT, RT and PAUT, with surface methods scheduled first for operational flexibility.
- 5 weeks — 100 training hours
- 5 days a week, 4 hours every evening
Fabrication
Welding Programs
Qualifies welding technicians and specialists for internationally recognised AWS and ASME certification. Covers SMAW, TIG and MIG-MAG with progression from 1G plate up to 6GR pipe positions.
- 6 weeks — 120 training hours
- 5 days a week, 4 hours every evening
- Includes a free extra week of field application
Fabrication
Pipefitter Programs
Qualifies preparation and installation technicians to read isometric and P&ID drawings and perform the engineering calculations behind field assembly and installation.
- 4 weeks — 80 training hours
- 5 days a week, 4 hours every evening
Fabrication
Steel Fabricator / Bench Fitter Programs
Prepares bench fitters to master measuring, detailing, cutting and assembly for steel structures, trusses and pressure vessels. 70% of program time is direct workshop practice on real raw materials and steel sections.

- 5 days a week, 4 hours every evening
- 70% practical workshop time
