Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions governing use of the TARRADCO website, quotation requests, and fabrication services delivered under signed contracts.

Last updated: 14 July 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the website operated by Tarrad Contracting Company ("TARRADCO", "we", "our"), and any quotations, proposals, or services we provide in response to enquiries submitted through it. By using this website or submitting an enquiry, you confirm you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms on your own behalf and on behalf of the entity you represent.

2. About TARRADCO

TARRADCO is an Egyptian heavy-steel fabrication and industrial contracting company. Registered office and workshop details, along with commercial and tax registration numbers, are available on our About and Contact pages. Enquiries received via this website are handled by our commercial and engineering teams in Alexandria, Egypt.

3. Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its servers, or connected systems.
  • Introduce malware, scrapers, or automated tools that impair the site's operation.
  • Submit false, misleading, or infringing information through our forms.
  • Use the site to send unsolicited commercial communications.

We may suspend or restrict access without notice if we believe the site is being misused.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, drawings, photographs, renders, logos, and the TARRADCO name — is owned by TARRADCO or licensed to it and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may view and print pages for legitimate business evaluation of our services. Any other reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use requires our prior written consent.

5. Quotations & RFQs

Requests for quotation ("RFQs") submitted through the website are non-binding enquiries. Any quotation we issue in response is an offer valid for the period stated on it (typically 30 days) and subject to:

  • Availability of raw materials and workshop capacity at the time of order confirmation.
  • Receipt of complete technical drawings, datasheets, and applicable specifications.
  • Site conditions, access, and interfaces disclosed by the client.
  • Adjustment for currency movements, customs duties, and steel index changes where applicable.

A binding contract is formed only when TARRADCO issues a written order acknowledgement or both parties sign a purchase order or contract document.

6. Contracts, Orders & Scope of Work

The scope, deliverables, milestones, and commercial terms of any project are governed by the signed contract or accepted purchase order between the parties. In the event of conflict between these Terms and a signed contract, the signed contract prevails for that engagement. Change orders must be issued in writing and may affect price and schedule.

7. Technical Standards & Compliance

Fabrication, welding, NDT, coating, and inspection activities are executed in accordance with the applicable international codes agreed in the contract, including but not limited to ASME, AWS D1.1, API, ISO 9001, ISO 8501-1 and SSPC-PA 2. Where the client specifies alternative standards, those requirements must be identified in the contract documents so they can be priced and planned.

8. Delivery, Inspection & Acceptance

Delivery dates communicated in quotations are indicative and assume timely client approvals, drawing releases, and payment milestones. Unless stated otherwise, delivery terms follow Incoterms 2020 as specified in the contract. The client is responsible for inspection at the agreed hold and witness points; items not rejected in writing within the period defined in the contract are deemed accepted.

9. Pricing & Payment

Prices are quoted exclusive of VAT and any other applicable taxes or duties unless expressly stated. Payment terms, milestones, and currency are those set out in the accepted quotation or contract. Overdue amounts may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by Egyptian law, and TARRADCO may suspend work or withhold delivery until outstanding invoices are settled.

10. Warranty

TARRADCO warrants that fabricated works will conform to the agreed drawings and specifications and be free from defects in workmanship for the period stated in the contract, typically twelve (12) months from delivery or commissioning, whichever is earlier. The warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, improper operation or maintenance, corrosive service outside the agreed design envelope, or normal wear.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TARRADCO's aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with any contract shall not exceed the value of that contract. TARRADCO shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or economic loss, including loss of profit, production, or opportunity. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, epidemics, government action, port closures, or interruption of essential utilities or steel supply. The affected party shall notify the other promptly and use reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact.

13. Confidentiality

Drawings, specifications, and commercial information exchanged during enquiries and projects are treated as confidential and used only for the purpose of preparing quotations and executing contracts. We may reference completed projects in credentials and marketing materials in a manner that does not disclose confidential technical details, unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

14. Health, Safety & Environment

TARRADCO operates under a documented HSE management system aligned with ISO 45001 principles. On client sites, our personnel comply with the client's site rules in addition to our own procedures. The client is responsible for disclosing site hazards, providing safe access, and ensuring interfaces with other contractors are coordinated.

15. Third-Party Links & Services

This website may link to third-party sites or embed third-party services (for example map providers). TARRADCO is not responsible for the content, availability, or privacy practices of those third parties.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of them are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Alexandria, unless the parties have agreed to arbitration in a signed contract, in which case that arbitration clause prevails for the relevant engagement.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or industry practice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the current version took effect. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
