Surface preparation and protective coating run as one integrated line inside the TARRADCO yard. Abrasive blast cleaning is delivered to SA 2, SA 2½ or SA 3 per ISO 8501-1, with grit media selected to give a 40–100 µm anchor profile verified with Testex replica tape.
Ambient temperature, steel temperature and dew-point are logged per ISO 8502-4 before every coat, so priming only happens inside the clean-to-coat window. Airless-spray application (Graco / Wagner units) lays down zinc-rich primers, epoxy intermediates and polyurethane or acrylic topcoats to the DFT and stripe-coat sequence in the client spec.
Coating systems are specified against ISO 12944 corrosivity categories — C3 to C5 atmospheric, Im1–Im3 for immersion — and are fully compatible with client-nominated products from Jotun, Hempel, Sigma and International. Immersion and buried-service coatings are holiday-tested before release.
Every project is handed over with a coating dossier: material batch numbers, environmental logs, wet-film and dry-film readings per SSPC-PA 2, stripe-coat records and applicator IDs — a full traceable file for the client's QA/QC.
