Pressure parts and vessels fabricated to ASME practice in Egypt
Pressure work is judged on the paperwork as much as the steel. Material traceability, qualified welding procedures, welder performance records, heat treatment where called for, NDT results and the final hydrotest report all have to line up before an inspector will sign. A vessel that is welded well but documented badly will still be rejected.
What the scope covers
TARRADCO fabricates pressure parts, shell-and-tube heat exchangers and ASME B31.3 pipe spool packages at its Alexandria yard, working to the client's inspection and test plan. Our clients include petroleum and gas operators and their EPC contractors — Petrojet, Enppi, GASCO, Petrobel, GUPCO, Alexandria Petroleum, Egyptian Refining Co. and Abu Qir Fertilizers among them.
- Pressure parts and vessel shells fabricated to ASME VIII Div. 1 practice
- Shell-and-tube heat exchangers, new build and like-for-like retrofit
- ASME B31.3 process pipe spool packages driven from client isometrics
- Dished ends, nozzles, saddles, supports and pipe end caps in all common sizes
- Plate rolling, CNC profile cutting and submerged-arc welding on long seams
- Radiography, ultrasonic and dye-penetrant testing per the agreed ITP
- Hydrotest, surface preparation to SA 2.5 and airless protective coating
- Full document dossier: material certificates, WPS/PQR, welder records, NDT reports
Certifications & standards
- General Petroleum Authority (GPA) — registration file #124, 2023
- Egyptian Natural Gas Holding (EGAS) — registered 2024
- Triple ISO certified: 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2018
What moves the price
The variables we quote against
Design pressure, temperature and the resulting wall thickness
Material: carbon steel, stainless or clad, and mill certificate requirements
Post-weld heat treatment where the code or the service demands it
NDT extent — spot versus full radiography changes both cost and schedule
Third-party inspection and the size of the required document dossier
Coating and lining specification for the process fluid
Figures pending client sign-off
- [NEEDS INPUT: ASME U-stamp / authorisation status, if held]
- [NEEDS INPUT: maximum design pressure and vessel weight fabricated to date]
- [NEEDS INPUT: typical lead time for a pressure vessel from approved drawings]
- [NEEDS INPUT: in-house versus subcontracted PWHT arrangement]
